More than 90% of our indoor plants are grown in high-tech labs in tissue culture media. This ensures that new plants maintain a consistent quality and are the best breed. Once they reach the right stage, they are moved into a natural environment outside the lab and acclimatised in Delhi’s climatic conditions.
Bonsai plants which cannot be grown using tissue culture are trained in Delhi’s environment for a few months before they are ready to move into our clients’ homes.

After a successful IT career in leadership and managerial positions with companies like Nagarro and Aon Hewitt, she followed her inner calling and wore various hats including voluntary service and Better Life Coach.
In the year 2018, she gave birth to her third child, PLANTORI to help Delhiites become happy plant parents. Through her workshops, she introduces gardening newbies to the joys of plant ownership.
Beyond her role as an entrepreneur, Parul Singhal is a wellness advocate, a fitness enthusiast, a dedicated home maker, and a seeker of spirituality.
In the year 2017, I happened to visit my father’s native town, Khurja to pay respects to our family-owned 100 years old Ganga Ma temple. It is an ancient temple with the majestic Shivling inside. The carvings on the inside of the central dome are truly breathtaking. Being there, I felt a deep sense of remorse that I had missed coming to this beautiful place earlier, though it is hardly any distance from Delhi.
Since the town is so much known for its pottery, we thought we too would pick up some. I realised that though the craftsmanship was great, these planters could not have found their place in our modern, urban homes. But I also felt a deep sense of connect with the town and wanted the pots made here to give Chinese planters a run for their money! Hence, I started my journey to marry Indian craftsmanship with modern India’s décor needs.
And this laid PLANTORI’s third pillar of crafting sustainable, timeless planters with materials naturally derived from mother Earth.

People often ask me, what made you move from a stable IT career to plants? In case you too are curious about the same, let me share my story with you…
Not one, not two but three things coming together, which I call “Alchemy”.
Moving from South Delhi to an apartment in Dwarka with a 150 square feet odd balcony, I had lost the luxury of space.
Though I was spending hours tending to plants in the balcony, I realized that an ambitious working couple with growing kids will really never have the luxury of time to admire its beauty. With this realisation, I started introducing more and more plants within our home.
This was when indoor plants were not so popular, and trial and error was the only way to learn. In the process I also realised that plants that look great in nurseries don’t really do well in our Delhi homes as these are mostly grown in temperate areas like Pune which find it very hard to acclimatise to Delhi’s hot and arid climate.
Friends who would visit us were fascinated by my indoor plants and would carry one or two back home with them, only to let me know later that my plant baby that they took away could not survive despite their best efforts.
This made me realise two things – first- plants must be acclimatised to Delhi’s climate before they go into the hands of a newbie gardener, and second – without plenty of guidance even these acclimatised plants would not be able to thrive.
Hence, the two founding pillars of PLANTORI were already in place – Delhi acclimatised plants and plenty of guidance.

For live plants, we primarily cater to Delhi and Gurgaon for retail orders. However, for bulk orders we deliver across the entire Delhi NCR.
We use optimal packaging for delivering our plants. Only the pots are packaged for safety during transit. The plants are left open to breathe. We hand deliver our plants for ultimate safety, and health of the plants
We deliver limited plants outside Delhi, which can withstand travel easily. This facility is available only for bulk orders. You may contact us for the same.
The ideal preparation time for a new planter before it reaches you is 3 – 6 days. Since we hand deliver our plants you will get them the day they are dispatched. If for some reason, you want them earlier, please leave a comment while placing your order. We will try our best to make it possible for you.
You may also make your selections from the “Next Day Delivery Plants” section for faster delivery.
Pots and other décor items are typically despatched within 2-3 days from our Delhi warehouse through reliable and secure logistics partners. Depending on your location, it may take 2 – 5 or more days to reach you.
Delivery is free for all non-live items, irrespective of their price.
You will be notified prior to the delivery date so that you are aware of the date of delivery. Our delivery partners will only make 1 attempt to deliver the planters. If no one is there to receive the package, it will be returned to our warehouse. You will have to pay shipping charges to re-attempt the delivery.
